Mini Mosa

New Setting, 1300 BC, The Old Order . New Campaign, Help overthrow Ankenaten. New Victim, Mosa-Naledi.  Feral Ring tailed Lemur, from the Khosian nation, Follower of justice, Master Acrobat, Magi.
I have had this mini sitting around in my bits box for a while now it is a Reaper Mini "the voodoo queen". she came with a voodoo mask but Mosa is not actually a voodoo practitioner so she doesn't get to keep the mask. I didn't actually know what I was going to do with the mini but when I saw it I just had to have it. I promptly bought it then put it in the bits box and forgot about it. Now a year or more later, I want to make a mini of Mosa and I remember the voodoo queen. If you compare my drawing of Mosa the mini is a perfect fit.

I am really proud of the way she turned out and I think i might enter her in the single model painting competition at Gottacon next February if they (Dice Bag Games) have the competition again.

RPG minis

Lately I have been building and painting minis for RPG purposes. Especially since I take full use of battle maps when running Battle. Its just easier for me to keep track of things with.
I have some finished ones:
  AWolf-Si female

A Felyine female

A Male Satyr

And I am working on quite a few others

Furry Black legs

I have learnt that making pants is not as easy as I thought it would be. And working with fun fur is frustrating, my last attempt at making pants didn't quite work right. i ended up with funny bulges and they didnt fit right. So this time I decided to try just sewing the funfur onto the legs of this comfy pair of cords.
I cut out 2 leg pieces leaving a fair bit of room for hems
sew the pieces together and then cut the original legs off the pants. sew the new furry legs to the now booty short cords and now I have furry black legs. the pants are very comfortable. and I want to wear them to work. wonder if any one would notice that the fur on my legs goes all the way up instead of just to my knees, like the leg warmers that I often wear to work.
the last thing I had to do was sew the hem at the bottom.
They look pretty good. I have a bunch of this fur left too so more leg warmers and another bonnet maybe a tail to come.

Awesome Utility Belt!

Ok so I don't do any kind of construction unless its art construction so I have no need for a work utility belt, But there is nothing saying a girl doesn't need a party utility belt. I was in the lingerie shop also known as a sex shop and fell in love with this little purple plaid thing that i think is supposed to be a skirt but its really not much more than a belt. so i decided to turn it into a utility belt. Cut off the zipper and add a coupe of straps and clips and hey look it really is a belt. A special pouch for a mickey and one for a shot glass, a pouch for my cigarettes and one for my video camera, a pouch for other smokables and one for a grinder, and 2 decent sized pouches for random stuff, looks like its all set.

Some of the pouches are fun fur and some of them are made out of duct tape and cardboard. they can be removed so that they can be arranged in any order or put onto a regular belt instead. Over all I'm very happy with it.

More mushroom farming..

HaHa Its that time of year again, I'm going to start calling it mushroom season, only funnier since its actually mushroom season too. Otherworld Is only a few months away, and I am gearing up and pulling the sewing machine out again.
First Project on the List is Sew El-wire to the mushrooms so they glow. And then fix any thing that needs it. This one got 10ft of red El-wire.
They look very good with the El-wire sewn on, as opposed to just strung around and pinned. I have ordered bright lights to stick into the lanterns of the paper ones, hopefully it lights them up the way I intend it to.
This years overall Theme B-movies.
So miss Rosa and I have decided to make big Chompy mouths for the mushrooms

I also had these foam caps that I made last year that I wanted to turn into hanging mushrooms so I fastened rope to it and a sock and glued El-wire to the underside and tied a piece of fabric to the rope. I think they turned out pretty good we will see how well they fare hanging outside.
My big container of mushrooms is quite full now. I am going to have to get another one if I keep expanding the mushroom forest. Which of course I am.
The number of lights has doubled and there is more El-wire on the way, all the mushrooms I have already assembled will light up. That is a total off 22 fabric inflatable ones, 4 paper lanterns and 6 foam ones.
Miss Rosa and I will also be working on the fungal lounge soon, The fungal lounge is a tent turned into a giant mushroom inside is a comfy chill space. I will make sure to post pictures of that build.

Currently I am sorting through my costumes so I will know what I need to fix or finish or make new.

Mushroom forest

There is a project i have been working on for a few years now. It is an ongoing project because every year I add to it. It is called The mushroom forest. The mushroom forest is a big art installation I take to parties and camping. The idea of the mushroom forest was inspired by the need for Alice in wonderland decorations to make you feel small like in wonderland. Over the last 3 years they have been set up 6 times, and they are staying quite durable, I have only had to do a few fixes to the originals. Here are pictures of the forest that I have collected. Unfortunately the light displays at night do not show up very well in pictures.
